Emergency officials have directed everyone in the town to leave without delay. Residents should travel south on Highway 1 and move away from the Brunswick wildfire complex, which has threatened the area for several weeks.
Highway 1 Remains the Main Evacuation Route
Officials say Highway 1 is the safest route for people leaving Boston Bar. Travelling south will take evacuees away from the active fire zone.
Meanwhile, anyone who needs emergency support should go to the Shxwháy Village Community Centre in Chilliwack. The centre is providing assistance for residents forced from their homes.
Fire Threat Expands Across the Community
The Brunswick Creek and Ainslie Creek wildfires have already placed hundreds of nearby properties under evacuation alerts and orders. However, the latest order now includes the Boston Bar townsite itself, where about 170 people live.
Emergency officials say the fast-changing fire conditions created a serious risk to life and property. As a result, they expanded the evacuation zone to help keep residents safe.

At the same time, another wildfire prompted evacuation orders and alerts near Pemberton, adding to the growing pressure on emergency crews across British Columbia.
