The heartbreaking incident happened last Thursday in Pouce Coupe, a village near Dawson Creek. According to RCMP, five children were riding in the vehicle when it rolled several times.
Young Driver Among Victims
Police say a seven-year-old girl was driving the UTV at the time of the crash. Four other children were also on board.
During the rollover, some of the children were thrown from the vehicle. Emergency crews rushed to the scene soon after the crash was reported.
An eight-year-old boy died at the scene. Meanwhile, the young girl who was driving was taken to hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

While the crash ended in tragedy for two families, three other children survived.
RCMP say the remaining passengers suffered only minor injuries. However, the emotional impact of the incident is expected to be felt throughout the community for a long time.
