Major Drug Bust Shakes Victoria Streets

In Victoria, the Victoria Police Department has made a big move against drugs and weapons. First, officers uncovered fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, guns, and cash. In addition, the total street value reached about $150,000. As a result, the city is seeing a strong response to illegal activity.

Arrest on Dunedin Street and Gorge Road East

First, on May 27, the VicPD Strike Force acted quickly. They arrested a man at Dunedin Street and Gorge Road East. Importantly, he was found with drugs, a loaded firearm, and cash.

Next, officers secured the scene. Then, they gathered key evidence. Meanwhile, the investigation continued to build momentum.

Search Warrant Leads to More Seizures

Then, on May 28, officers took another step. They executed a search warrant at a property on Eastdowne Road and Dalhousie Street in Victoria.

After that, a woman was taken into custody at the location. However, the situation did not stop there. Instead, police uncovered more illegal items.

Also, officers found fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, a replica firearm, and a bulletproof vest. As a result, the scope of the operation became much clearer.

Now, the man faces several serious charges. Meanwhile, the woman has been released. However, charges have been recommended against her.
