WNBA star Caitlin Clark signs signature deal with Nike, debuting her own shoe and apparel line in 2026 after unveiling her new logo collection this fall.

Rising Star Secures Landmark Deal

WNBA guard Caitlin Clark has officially become Nike’s newest signature athlete, joining an elite group of sports icons. The announcement was made Monday, cementing the Indiana Fever star as one of the faces of women’s basketball both on and off the court.

What Nike Announced

Nike revealed Clark’s new interlocking “CC” logo and confirmed her first signature shoe and apparel collection will launch in 2026. Ahead of that, a logo-branded T-shirt in the Fever’s yellow and navy colours will release Sept. 1, with a full logo collection set to debut Oct. 1.

Why This Matters

Clark becomes just the third WNBA player to earn a Nike signature deal, following A’ja Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu. Her meteoric rise — from setting the NCAA all-time scoring record at Iowa to winning WNBA Rookie of the Year — has made her one of the sport’s most marketable stars.

How Clark Responded

“Nike’s signature roster features all-time greats, and I am incredibly proud to join some of the best athletes in the world,” Clark said in a statement. She added that she is eager to share the designs she has been working on with the brand.

Current Playing Status

Clark, 23, has missed much of her second season due to a groin injury, sidelined since July 15. In 13 games before the setback, she averaged 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, and 5.0 rebounds. Despite the absence, her influence remains strong, as WNBA attendance and TV ratings continue to rise with her name attached.

Global and Canadian Impact

Clark’s deal also resonates north of the border. After the WNBA’s historic exhibition game in Vancouver earlier this year, Canadian fans have shown growing appetite for women’s basketball. With the league planning Canadian expansion in 2026, Clark’s global brand power is expected to boost momentum in markets like B.C. and beyond.

Looking Ahead

Nike’s last WNBA-linked release — Kobe Bryant’s sneakers in Indiana Fever colours — sold out instantly in June. With Clark’s signature line on the horizon, demand is expected to be even stronger, signalling a new era for both women’s sports marketing and athlete partnerships.
