A fatal multi-vehicle crash on Stoney Trail in southwest Calgary Sunday evening has killed one and injured several, shutting highway traffic in both directions.

Police Confirm One Fatality in Evening Crash

One person is confirmed dead and multiple others injured following a serious multi-vehicle collision on Stoney Trail in Calgary’s southwest on Sunday evening. Calgary Police Service responded to the scene shortly after 6:15 p.m., initiating a full emergency response.

Incident Involved Multiple Vehicles

The collision took place between 17th Avenue S.W. and Bow Trail S.W. on the northbound side of Stoney Trail. Calgary Police diverted northbound traffic at 17th Avenue S.W. and southbound vehicles at Bow Trail S.W.
