Star-Studded Wedding in Santa Barbara

Selena Gomez has married music producer and songwriter Benny Blanco in a private ceremony held in Santa Barbara, California. The news was confirmed in an Instagram post where the couple shared a photo of themselves kissing and embracing on a lawn.

A Picture-Perfect Moment

Gomez wore a white halter bridal dress with floral flourishes, while Blanco appeared in a tuxedo and bow tie, both custom-made by Ralph Lauren. Paparazzi had earlier spotted a large outdoor tent and other wedding preparations, signaling the scale of the celebration.

The couple’s announcement drew immediate responses from celebrities and fans alike. Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars celebrated with heart emojis, while her cosmetics brand, Rare Beauty, posted congratulations. Stars such as Camila Cabello and Amy Schumer also sent their best wishes.

A Relationship Built on Music

Blanco, 37, and Gomez, 33, first met around a decade ago and worked together on the 2019 hit I Can’t Get Enough, which also featured J Balvin and Tainy. They became engaged at the end of last year, culminating in this weekend’s wedding.

Celebrating Musical Achievements

Blanco has produced and written for major artists including Katy Perry (Teenage Dream), Britney Spears (Circus), and Maroon 5 (Moves Like Jagger). Gomez, meanwhile, has been a household name since childhood, starring in Barney & Friends and rising to teen stardom on Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place. Her music hits include Calm Down, Good for You, and Come & Get It.

Canadian Fans Celebrate Abroad

Although the wedding took place in California, Gomez’s Canadian fans joined the celebrations online. By sharing their special moment on Instagram, Gomez and Blanco allowed supporters across Canada and the world to witness the joyous occasion in real time.
